About Enlight’ning’s 2016 Issue: Luck
This journal is filled with amazing stories, poems, and art, and not how-to DIY beauty videos from a killer YouTube channel that currently has over one million subscribers. However, if you were looking for content that can only be seen online, you will find films and music on this website. Also online is even more artwork, photography, poetry and fiction than we could fit into the beautiful print journal we are publishing this year. The current issue’s theme is luck. “Why?” you may ask, and the answer is this: the whole reason we have a print edition is that we lucked into some leftover money from the yearbook budget. Lucky us! Plus, we were lucky to have some help with the In Design side of printing this journal from an Upper School journalism student, Meilan Steimle. In fact, most of our submissions featured this year have something to do with luck, whether the good kind or the bad. Enjoy Enlight’ning 2016!
